What advice would you give to someone who is going to Disney for the very first time? Please post some thoughtful insight or tips you may have for those "first timers" here!

This is a great question! But, wow, is it complicated. It really depends on who is traveling... However, my main advice would be to take it slow, enjoy your surroundings, and do not try and see everything (because it's impossible in one trip). If you're the type of person who wants to go from attraction to attraction - from sunrise until the wee hours of the morning - you can have a blast at Disney World. And if you're the personality type who likes to take it easy on vacation and relax, you can also have a blissful time at Disney World. This truly is the place where you can make each vacation unique.
So, where to start? Figure out how you want to vacation - fast-paced or relaxed. Then choose which parks you would like to see. After that, decide what attractions in those parks appeal to you. Choose maybe 5-7 to start.
If you haven't decided on a resort, you can start with what you like: bright colors and characters or more subtle theming? Usually your budget will also help determine where you stay.
And the restaurants! A whole other discussion...

I would say go enjoy all the food and drinks it has to offer. Lots of people don’t live in big cities and won’t get to experience all the food choices. Also if you see a souvenir just buy it!!! Don’t wait and regret it later on.
