The rumored check-in dates for free dining in 2017 are:
    8/13-9/30, 11/14-11/20, 11/25-11/27, 12/3-12/23

Something else that's being rumored is that both Value and Moderates will only get Quick Service Dining. If you want the standard plan you'll need to stay at a Deluxe. (Huh?!)

I'm all prepped and ready! LOL I'm going to be getting very early on Monday morning to see if it's live on the TA side so I can try to modify for my clients. It's going to be MAYEM!

So it's been confirmed that both Values and Moderates only get the Quick Service Dining Plan this year.

How does everybody feel about that?

Speaking of which, many news sites are asking whether or not the free dining promotion is even worth it any more:
Is the free food offer at Walt Disney World really worth it?

Curious to hear some thoughts on this. Personally, I think the room discount might be a better deal overall for a lot of people.

I wasn't too bothered because my clients can upgrade to the DDP from QS.

Yes, you have to price compare. Sometimes the room only/discounted package is better since you're paying rack rate on the room with FD. I was able to get my clients in AKL with the FD promo for the same price as their package at Pop. So for that, I thought it was fantastic. Since they were planning on spending that amount anyway, moving from a Value to a Deluxe was a no-brainer!
