Disney and Pixar’s Coco was a huge hit all over the world, and now it has won the 2018 Golden Globe award for “Best Animated Motion Picture. ” Coco was up against other animated films: The Boss Baby, Loving Vincent, The Breadwinner and Ferdinand.

    Coco is About Family

Based on the Mexican celebration of Día de los Muertos, Coco is focused on the importance of family, living and dead. Family and tradition make us who we are. Sometimes we need to see where we have come from to figure out where we are going.

    Why did it win?

It was a beautiful film with highly expressive characters (not easy to do when 1/2 the cast are skeletal,) gorgeous backgrounds and visuals, and an amazing story. If you haven’t seen this film you need to see it!

Disney and Pixar worked on this for several years and they deserve every win they get with this one. Congrats to them and everyone involved with this incredible film!

Did you see Coco? What did you think of it? Does it deserve the Golden Globe Award? Comment and let us know!
